We got to the marina early, so Capt Hector got us going towards the fishing ground early! It was a little over an hour to get there, but my wife caught that first triggerfish within 30 seconds of putting the line in the water. The bite was on the entire time, despite Hector’s insistence that it would slow down between 1130-1230. We even got a visit from a large (13 foot easy) hammerhead shark! Lots of fish and Hector was quick to replace bait and hooks when necessary so there was no down time.... More

We had a fantastic experience with Hector. This was our first private fishing charter and he was so patient with us! Even though he said the fishing conditions weren’t great, he promised us that we’d catch fish and we did! Between his sense of humor, knowledge of the area and his fishing expertise, we had so much fun. We will book with Hector every time we are in the area!

One of the best days on the water fishing that I’ve ever had! Captain Hector was an amazing captain, as well as tour guide! Not only was it a chartered fishing trip, but captain Hector also does sightseeing tours and is very knowledgeable of the history in the area. I walked away a better fisherman with knowledge of the neighboring islands in the ICW that I never knew before! I would highly recommend him to anyone who just loves to be on the water, and I can’t wait to rebook myself!

My family and I have used several charters at different locations. One thing everyone knows about fishing is that it’s unpredictable! That being said, we did catch shark, trout, whiting and a few stingrays. It doesn’t matter how many fish you catch if your captain doesn’t have a personality but Hector definitely does. We had a great time laughing and fighting today. I will definitely be back. Thanks Hector for the great time today with my family.
