Hi Esau, thank you for the business. On the morning when we departed you said you want to target Dorado. We did our best. 6 different locations, several chum buckets and we worked vigorously to try to put you on big fish. We trolled, drifted and anchored. I spoke to the other boats before, during and after and nobody out front caught the Dorado you wanted yesterday. In fact, nobody has caught them yet this season. I suggest checking the local fish reports next time. If you would have mentioned that before the day of the trip I would have told you. Every day is different. The Dorado showed up in August last year in the thousands-  your team did catch tons of maks, Barracuda and Sea Bass. If I could guarantee big fish I absolutely would. The weather was sunny and the seas were calm! EVERY day is good but some days are better than others! Good luck and good fishing.
That 9 foot MAKO shark was hudge and would have been a blast in my opinion but you were not interested in sharking.

Thanks for booking the 3 hour trip Scott. We did the best we could. Had a minor unexpected mechanical glitch that needed to be fixed immediately and left the dock 10 minutes later than agreed upon. The Bluefin came in close today-100lb class 2 miles offshore. The past two days we have a patti marked that is holding lots of 5-25 pound class Dorado. Nice 73 degree clear blue water right now so its fishing time in Dana Point. Makos follow the Dorado-8-12 foot makos will make you work! water temp 75
