My group book me for a sound fishing trip and put six adults. After I confirmed the booking I sent message back and said just so we are completely understood my sound trip are mainly a kids trip. This is a trip that after the trolling part we go and bottom fish and although we might catch 150 fish you might keep six. He sent message back totally understand and it sounds great I said all right. The group got to vote wonderful people and I told them that it was going to be a absolutely gorgeous day with a 15 mile an hour Southwest wind in the sound it creates a one foot wave but there's plenty of Breeze on a hot July day. After no bites on the trolling part I really felt bad for them but they voted to go ahead and go bottom fishing so we did we pick up we ran into my spot with the outgoing turn it took us away from the edge so for the first 30 minutes everybody was staying in there not catching anything and I really felt bad so I got my mate to pull the anchor we moved over 10 ft into the channel and within 3 minutes of dropping a line in the first fish was called and it was Non-Stop the next two and a half hours. During this time I saw college girls that thought debate was yucky turn into beating their own hook then got to the stage of taking their own fish off the hook and then become from drop down casters to being able to cast. All in all doing all of this the father turned around and look at me and said see I told you it didn't matter and I smiled. Then I look around and I saw three daughters a son a father and a mother standing shoulder to shoulder for two and a half hours no TV no phones no stereo no headphones no distractions in a family bonding well by all means I consider that better than a catching a yellowfin tuna you don't have enough of that nowadays. All in all after 150 fish we might have had seven or eight on the DOT you'll be able to have a small serving of fish tacos tonight and laugh about all the pictures that I took of them but the main thing is they call a memory that will last forever from the captain of the fishing Taxi God bless and tight lines!

We had a wonderful group today from New York. They had a 8-hour date and we had a lot of wind and we're worried it was going to be too rough out there so we decided to go 28 miles down the beach in 7 miles off the beach to the rocks. We first hit a wreck and were able to catch a king mackerel and a Albacore. Then we moved on from that and got to the rocks and were able to catch a shark and lost a king and had two throwback King Michael. Then we did some bottom fishing and caught some sea bass that were all too small and had to throw them back and after that we went back in towards the beach and got into the Spanish material and caught some of them. All in all for a day that was real windy we were able to make a great day of it.

Our group today was absolutely wonderful. Although there was not a lot of fish to choose from we started our early in the trip catching ribbon fish and after 15 or so of them we moved out and started targeting Spanish mackerel after a couple of those I went to a lump where normally we can scare up a king Mackle. With lots of life on the hump we were unable to bring a king to the top. Good group great sense of humor and very fun those are one of those wonderful types of trips with the ocean being absolutely gorgeous. From the crew of the fishing Taxi tight lines and God bless!

Had a wonderful group today this is their second annual fishing trip with us. They did not want to mess with ribbons so we went in search of something else and 10 miles down the beach we found Spanish mackerel. After catching a dozen of those we moved out to deeper waters targeting King Michael and Cobia which we were unable to locate. All in all a wonderful trip. We had two couples today for a 4-Hour Nearshore. Started off slow couldn't get on the fish quite like we wanted but ended up with a decent catch or as the group said we couldn't need no more if we had to. These were a little choppy today in the Spanish mackerel was real finicky but we were able to land a few. The group said they had a blast and we had fun with them. We had a gentleman and his son today go fishing with us with on a 4-Hour midday ocean trip. First words were he would love to have a mahi unfortunately that can't happen for our trip but then he also said they wouldn't mind catching a shark. So after trolling for an hour looking for Spanish Blues and catching one we ended up going shark fishing and it ended up with a white dotter which is a smaller shark.
