Background: Captain Rod started fishing when he was 5 years old and has now been boating for over 40 yrs. Most of his saltwater fishing has been done off the Oregon coast. We took our three children (10, 6, and almost 2) out scalloping with Captain Rod today. We loved having the shaded area when we needed to get out of the sun for a little bit. We went to 4 different spots to maximize our scallop haul, and we all had so much fun!

We had an amazing trip scalloping with Captain Rod!! He watched all of us to make sure we were safe at all times and taught us some tricks to get the scallops !! We came home with a mother load!!! The boat was a blessing because it rained and we were covered well and comfortable!! We will be seeing captain Rod again!! Amazing trip amazing captain!!! Thanks captain Rod!!

First scalloping adventure for some and second for others! Captain Rod took us to a couple of great spots! All the gear was provided and more comfortable than my own! The weather wasn’t in our favor toward the end of the day and it was so nice to be inside for the rainy ride back! Thanks Captain Rod and Jake for a great day!

Our group from first coast scuba had a remarkable time with Captain Rod, he was very attentive of our groups location in the water. He kept us safe from boat traffic.
