Yes, rainy day, fortunately even thou you decided to cut the trip short, you were able to catch some Mahi Mahi.

We really wanted to take you out again today (Thursday), but the weather is still not cooperating, it actually got worse,  the harbor master decided to close the port.

I hope next time you visit Cozumel we get a chance to take you out on a nicer, sunnier day.

We know that most of us want to catch the huge Mahi Mahi or a Marlin but sometimes they are simply not there and we only wish you would have accepted coming down for the snappers, barracuda and jacks, it’s also fun.

For Big Mahi and Marlin we recommend to visit the island during May and June,

I’m sorry we didn’t meet your expectations.
We were not saving diesel, and worked the area where we thought it could be more productive during that time of the day.
We did communicate with you days before the trip and suggested to change it for the morning, because of the heat wave; we told you that it has been so hot that by the afternoon, it gets really hard to catch anything. Fish go down in the water column, are harder to find, and they seem not eager to eat.
At the end, we only suggest what we think it would be best, but you are the boss and decided to keep the tour for the hot hours (2pm to 6pm)
Getting that Mahi Mahi that you took for dinner took a lot of work and dedication.

Today in the morning trip, same boat, same crew, same area, we caught 3 Mahi Mahi and a sailfish.

But that is fishing 🎣, we can only work hard and give our best, the results are never guaranteed.
