Overall, a decent fishing trip at this price point. Definitely a “budget” fishing experience as the boat is very old and fairly small, but fully functional. Boat was advertised as being able to take 6 people, but it is sized for 4 guests + 2 crew members. Positives: friendly and responsive boat crew, and we were able to catch a Mahi Mahi. Negatives: credit card machine didn’t work, so we had to make a trip to the ATM to get cash to pay for the trip. Loading into the boat is from the beach full of stinky rotting seaweed and you get knee deep into that stuff during loading and unloading.
Overall: if you’re on tight budget, this is a good choice. If you’ve got a bit more cash to spend, might want to look for a more luxurious experience.

Wahoo was used ..fish bit of tail section but did not hit entire fish…maybe if rigged differently better chances of catching. Lost one king fish due to jump

My wife and I went with Carlos and Alex for a great morning on the ocean. We picked the morning trip starting at 7am and it worked out very well. We were able to catch the sunrise on the water, cooler temperatures, and a very calm ocean. We were able to grab a couple fish but even though we didnt get a trophy, the conversation and overall experience was phenomenal. This was our first time ocean fishing, and it really set the bar high! We opted to go snorkelling at the end as well, Carlos jumped in with us and showed us some cool sea life and directed us towards some beautiful reefs. Looking forward to coming back in the future and enjoying the experience again!
