Wonderful crew, boat felt safe and was a lovely ride.  Just fight one fish.  Boo boo. That’s why it’s called fishing not catching.  Would definitely book again and recommend people to do it. We did the 4 hour trip.

I liked the capt and his mate. Problem is he didn’t adjust to conditions. Red Tide was in affecting his customary circuit. We only caught one small Spanish mackerel in 4 hours. The next day we were in Puerto Vallarta and went on a snorkeling trip. Red Tide was also there, but when we were taken to a maritime park 1 hour away, no red tide.
Pretty obvious that the captain could have piloted the boat one hour from bay and there wouldn’t have been red tide. At least there was a good chance. We would have only had about one hour to fish, but we would have had a good chance to catch fish. Instead, we paid. $400 plus tip for a 4 hour boat ride. In normal conditions, boat probably does fine. But, it was pretty poor for us.
