Had a great day on the water. The fish did not cooperate today, but Captain Mendez and his son went above and beyond trying to make it happen for us.  We caught a couple of small fish and enjoyed the day on the water, which is way better than being at work.

This is a no non sense fishing trip! It’s not fancy but a nice time. Captain was very patient, and asked us what we wanted to catch. We were able to catch 5 barracudas! The longest was 40 inches. They put up some fights. It was very cool. We didn’t start catching them until 3 hours into our trip. I do recommend bringing your owns drinks (non/alcholic), snacks, and sunscreen. Very accommodating with start time. We were trying to land a roster fish. I didn’t get one, but got two of the biggest fish I have ever caught. One was a needle fish that the captian made into ceviche right on the boat. It was delicious. The other was a giant nurse shark. That is by far the biggest fish I have ever caught. All in all, it was a great trip.

It was our first experience doing deep sea fishing and would definitely recommend. We got to see dolphins, sea turtles and even a stingray jumping out of the water! The crew was amazing and ensured to have snacks and drinks for us. Definitely will be coming back and trying again.

We had an amazing day…. Started day trolling and caught pretty quickly. We had also asked to do bottom fishing as well and caught a ton of fish. Also got a bonus seeing mama and baby humpback today. Would recommend. Definitely will be using again on our next trip here
