Beware of the crew taking your catch. We caught 7 Mahi-Mahi and after you take pictures, the crew suggests to take just 1. This was a great experience up to this point, and when I told them I wanted all my fish, the mood instantly changed from happy and friendly to somewhat tense. I’m guessing it might be standard practice for the crew to keep the fish, but I’m not having that nonsense. I was immediately reminded to tip the crew, which I was already going to do, so the reminder was unnecessary and annoying. The biggest issue I had was after all that, was one of my fish somehow escaped and swam back into the sea, because when I got back toy lodging, there were only 6 Mahi in the bag! I would absolutely recommend this charter, based on their work ethics and cleanliness, but the moral ethics and behavior of the crew, especially after getting is shady because they tried to take advantage and I cannot explain what could have happened to one of my fish.

We went with quico and don’t remember the other guy name,  fishing is much about luck but they know what they are doing and good talk too, definitely recommend them, went with my 14 years old son, and catched 8 mahi mahis and one barracuda.

All of the guys on the boat made myself and wife feel welcomed. She had more questions than I did, but they answered them all. The fish weren’t biting like I would have like, but they did their best to make sure I caught a few fish. It was a good day altogether and would recommend if you’re booking a trip while in the DR, to book with them. They picked us up and dropped us off when we were ready.

The captain and first mate were wonderful!
The trip included a taxi to and from the boat which made that very eazy. The crew were very knowledgeable about everything!
I would highly recommended them!

Caught 6 Mahi Mahi and even had two of them cooked for us at the local restaurant… incredible experience and a must… the captain and his crew were great and got the kids involved too
