- Captain Duane Crandall is a USCG approved 100 Ton Master with 30+ years experience fishing the Great Lakes and Detroit River. Growing up in a small town north of Flint Michigan, Duane has countless fishing trips to the Saginaw Bay area for Perch and Walleyes. As a young adult, Captain Duane spent many summer and fall days pursuing Lake trout and Salmon in Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. After college, Duane moved to South East Michigan and spent more time fishing the waters of the Detroit River, Lake Erie, and Lake Saint Clair. Primarily fishing for Walleye in Lake Erie and the Detroit River.
- Techniques
- In Late May and June the walleye are returning from their spawning run and can be caught in great numbers by slow trolling using planer boards and a variety of lures and live bait.
