Captain Kyle was the best guide a mom and 13 year old son could ask for! He was patient and a great teacher to my budding angler. Fishing is all about - well the fishing - not always the catch. The fishing was fun and he made it feel easy. We got lots of bites and caught three fish - one worth a pic! The coffee was hot, the float was beautiful with waterfalls and all. Bottom line, Kyle is laid back but smart, from my perspective he’s a refreshing mix of young yet experienced, kind vibe and successful angler. Captain Kyle put out 6 crab pots and we got 18 Dungeness crab. We fished Tillamook Bay. No one we saw caught a fish, but us. Though we saw one boat catch 2 real rocks which none of us thought was possible. Felt bad pulling in a 14 lbs Spring Salmon near them. The five of us had fun swapping stories with the Captain.

My husband, sister, two kids (5 and 7) and I had a great time on the water with Kyle! We put out crab pots and caught a bunch—my kids have been telling anyone who will listen that “We caught 14 crabs!!” And the adults had so much fun cooking and eating them later that day.
