Had an awesome afternoon-evening trip with San Diego Charters! Captain Kevin was amazing. He takes it seriously and took the time to teach us all what to do and why we were doing it. He knows the spots where the fish are at and can answer all questions. We had a ton of questions and Captain Kevin took the time to explain everything, from the engines to the inner workings of the bay to the fish, of course. We were feeling like pros in no time, manning our lines and rigging bait. At first I was bummed we did not have time in our trip for the open ocean, but the bay trip was really awesome, you can see all the excitement of the bay with freighters, aircraft carriers, jets buzzing overhead and commercial fishing boats in action. Kevin provided everything we could need, all the equipment plus snacks and drinks. The boat was super big and comfortable for the five of us, with an inside area for anyone in your party who is maybe not so keen on fishing the whole time. Overall this was such a great experience with such a dedicated and knowledgeable captain who really cares about his craft. We did not hook any fish but had an amazing time nonetheless. We went in January and plan on coming back in the high season! Thanks Captain Kevin and San Diego Charters!

Awesome charter with Captain Kevin! Was great at helping us get started and learning the ropes. Ended up with us catching multiple fish which he skillfully filleted for us to cook up at home. Would definitely book this charter again during our next trip to San Diego!

Me and 4 friends had an incredible experience with Kevin. He squeezed action and adventure into each minute of the half day. I highly recommend this charter for anyone looking to enjoy the day out on the water and efficiently hit a bunch of different spots. We caught some sizable sand bass and enjoyed it on the grill for dinner!

Kevin was so great with our kids, we moved around lots until we found some fish to bite! We contacted Kevin very short notice and he was very accommodating. We saw tons of seals up close and all kids got a fish. Super successful for us and I would recommend Kevin as a captain for anyone looking for some quality family time!

First time for everyone in my group to go deep sea fishing.  We caught fish, had fun and want to go again. The fish tasted great grilled! The boat comfortably had 6 people, we had 1 minor. Felt safe the entire time.  The captain is knowledgeable and enjoys fishing too, so he was engaged in going for fish.  Hats off to the Captain who made sure we were all having fun, safe and learned something about fishing.  It is worth the tine, money and make great memories.
