I highly recommend this charter. Communication with the owner, Nicholas, prior to our trip was easy as he was always quick to respond. We booked the all day “Tuna and marlin chase”, and Captain Luis and Mauro made sure that the charter lived up to its name. They were great (a pesar que el uno de ellos es del Barca, pero nadie es perfecto…😉). My kids had never been fishing before, but my son reeled in a sailfish, my daughter caught a couple of small black tuna, and I hooked/landed a beautiful yellowtail. Mauro made some sashimi on the spot with our catch which was amazing (the best fish my son ever ate per him). Apart from the fishing experience, we saw countless dolphins, two mating turtles (3 days!!!!), and Captain Luis shared stories of his experience fishing these waters. Truly a very memorable and special experience. We hope to return, and we would book with them again without hesitation. Fishing CR with Captain Luis and Douglas was a lot of fun. Through no fault of their own, the trolling bite for sportfishing was not good with the weather we had. But Luis pivoted, put my boys on the triggerfish, rainbows and snapper. We had a great experience and enjoyed our time. Luis and Douglas are hard working, kind and pleasant men. They gave us a good day on the water and we are glad we went out with them.

My son and I traveled from Denver, CO and I am not an experienced angler by any means but have always wanted to try saltwater fishing. Mauro and Luis were extremely helpful and patient with assisting me and my son with the whole process. My son caught two fish and released one but then a family of hump back whales stole the show. My companion saw them on the horizon and Luis wasted no time with taking us to see the whales. That was definitely the highlight of the trip for me. I would recommend a guide trip with Luis and Mauro anytime! Five stars across the board!! 🙌

Luis and his crew did a great job taking me and my fiancé out on the water. We caught 14 yellowfin and trolled for sailfish, it was an amazing day and would definitely recommend them. I know we will be coming back!

Our family of 4 went on a half-day trip and started with catching some black tuna right away. After getting some fish in the boat, the captain found some feeding sailfish and we hooked up with four fish and landed three.  The captain and deck hand were experienced and professional throughout the trip.  We not only caught fish but also learned a lot as we were taught about rigging, baits, and the intricacies of fishing.  It was an incredible experience to watch them work as a team to spot and entice the following sailfish to take the bait.  They also expertly coached us as we fought and landed the fish.  To top off our adventure, we took some of the tuna to the local restaurant, Puesta Del Sol, where the cook expertly prepared the tuna two ways for our best meal of our vacation.
