I can’t say enough good things about Capt. John and his wife Tracy. They were so great with my 11 year old son! We will be back.

We were told by the friend who let us use their house that the fishing isn’t great on Lake Michigan yet so don’t bother but my son LOVES fishing so we had to try. We messaged three different boats and finally found John who could take us out. We messaged back and forth a couple of times because of the potentially strong waves and I confessed I was bringing children and they wanted to not leave anyone in the lake and make sure that we knew it was going to be rough. It was rough but so worth it! Captain John was such a kind captain and great with the kids! His wife usually is on the boat we learned but she had work to do so a friends 16 year old son (Will) was first mate and he was a huge help. We ended up with 12 fish (more than the other boats around us) and really had a swell time. I hesitate to post this good review bc I would love to go out with them again and I don’t want them to be too busy to take us again but I do feel like everyone should know what a great charter it was!

I’ve been Charter Fishing for over 40 years across our Great Country. I took out a mix of Newbies and Seasoned Fisherpersons from 10 yrs to 69 yrs. What a trip!! Great Boat! Great Gear! and Great Crew! Jon and Tracey out did themselves with the action provided and making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Within the 1st hour fishing I was scheduling another trip.
You can go wrong with this crew and there accommodations.

Although we did not haul in a lot of fish, Jon and Will did their best to get on the fish. They were very skilled and efficient. They worked extremely well together.
