We were super impressed with The Lucky Bird crew and would definitely recommend them for an exciting trip out on Lake Michigan. They were pros and got us all hooked up with fish (even my 7 yr old daughter). Not being from the area, we went in blind thinking it’d be a good day walking away with a single salmon, but we caught WAY more than expected. King salmon for days and even rainbow and lake trout! We’ve already cooked up some of the salmon and it’s amazing!

My sister n law and I caught our limit within 5 hours. Nice clean boat. Great conversation. Answered questions professional and respectful. Patient. The worst waves I’ve ever fished in but the Lucky Bird captain and first mate handled them perfectly.  We also managed to land 6 of 6 fish with 3 Coho and 2 Rainbows as keepers.  One little Rainbow was released back to grow some more.  It would have been interesting to see how many we could have caught with calmer water.  We’ll definitely be back to fish with them again!

Great captain and crew. Very knowledgeable of fishing on Lake Michigan. Caught our limit of fish for the day, it was a great experience.
