This trip was nothing short of incredible! I’ve fished a lot and this is easily the best trip I’ve ever been on. Capt Zac and first mate Ralph were professional, kind, knowledgeable and a lot of fun and we absolutely KILLED IT fishing with them. We brought home 28 fish, and easily caught 40 including all the ones we threw back. We caught all kinds of snapper, grouper, grunts, a puffer fish, and ended the day with a good sized Bonita.

I can’t recommend them enough, they put us on fish from the go and were great with my 9 year old son who was with us. Can’t wait to fish with them again

The weather was gorgeous, and we caught around 40+ fish, including red grouper, a gag grouper, a puffer fish, a lizard fish, an oyster crusher, lots of Key West grunt, a red snapper, and tomtate. There were five of us on board, and we were all catching fish. Captain Zac and First Mate Ralph are very attentive and knowledgeable as to where the fish are. Zac even stopped the boat on the way back in so that we could see the pod of dolphins that were very close to the boat. We can’t wait to go fishing with Captain Zac and Ralph next summer, and we will definitely be booking two trips again! Thanks again for such a great time!!

Last year was our first experience fishing with Captain Zac and First Mate Ralph, and I wouldn’t book with anyone else! So, this vacation, I booked two trips because our family had such a great time. They are extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, the boat is a top notch fishing boat, and they know where the fish are. I even had an opportunity of a lifetime by unintentionally catching a seven foot nurse shark! It did break free once we had it at the surface against the boat, so we all got to see it and feel the excitement of unexpectedly catching the shark. I would highly recommend that you book with Captain Zac!

I have fished with Captain Zac four or five times already over the last 4 years, every time I visit Sarasota.  He is fantastic, personable, and a great person to be around.  He knows how to fish.

This trip, we caught around 50 fish (gag grouper, red grouper, lane snapper, sea bass, a couple of grunts and a puffer fish which my eight year old grandson caught).  Gags and Reds were not in season, but we still put 25 on the boat for a couple of fresh dinners.

Mate Ralph is exceptional and always attentive. 

If you are looking for a relaxing and fun fishing trip, these guys know the ropes.  I highly recommend them (unless you wanna book when I want to go out…lol).
