First question was did I want to leave early , then asked if I brought topwater poppers to fish with, as I had asked if we could fish that way months earlier. I explained I would have bought some if I had known he didn’t have any . In well over a hundred days of fishing with guides all over North America I’ve never had a captain gas up and go get coffee after the client arrived on my time I’m paying for . I was fifteen minutes late getting to the boat but we wasted 45 minutes in the Marina getting organized . The boat is setup for trolling not casting , it’s very difficult to cast off the front of this boat . So at 8 o’clock we got on the water by 10 the motor had broken down , that was not the captains fault entirely, engines do break down so I’ll give him a pass on that. But when we got back to the Marina at 10am , yes 2 hours of fishing he asked for 250.00 American honestly I couldn’t wait to get off the boat , my bad i should have just left but paid him and walked away. This captain is just out to get your money and get off the water as fast as possible. I have written many reviews of captains and guides this is the first negative one I have ever written . His attitude and the whole day was a terrible experience. Avoid this guy at all costs ! We did catch 3 mackerel and a Jack but I’m sure there are tons of other boats that are better than him .

Boat nor facility was not it at all what we expected we thought we were going to be at the main Marina we weren’t I was disappointed!!

Boat didn’t have a Head. Had to just let it hang over.  Very inconvenient for my wife. When the trolling for mahia turned out to be just a long boat ride there wasn’t a plan B. No bait for bottom fishing. Not satisfied with the outcome. Never even touched a rod .

We spent at least 5 hours looking for bait, barely got to do any fishing the entire day, caught one jack. It was a rough day! Captain and mate barely spoke to us during the day, they were just fishing for bait the whole time while we sat there doing nothing.
