Captain and Deckhand were very nice.  Boat was NOT exactly as described.  Although the front deck (sunbathing), upstairs (seating) and stereo (loud) were nice, there is no A/C in the cabin (see picture).  A portable fan is not A/C.  Also, there is no fish finder on this boat.  How do you operate a commercial fishing boat without a fish finder?  Captain informed us as we were leaving the dock that the boat was not fast enough to get far enough out in six hours to catch what we expected to catch (Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi) and we could not anchor and fish because the boat did not have a fish finder.  We should have ended the trip then and there.  Captain did all he could do with the equipment he had, however, we never caught a single fish and not a single person was able to drop a line in the water.  We told the owner we had nine people who wanted to fish.  We don’t need or enjoy people fishing for us.  We trolled for hours without a single bite.  We anchored near what the Captain believed was a reef for hours and fished blind.  The Captain caught two small bait fish.  Not exactly deep sea fishing.  If you want an average but loud (two diesel engines) sight seeing tour, this boat might be for you.  The very good stereo system aboard drowned out the loud diesel engines.  If you want a real fishing boat, this boat is not for you.  After fishing many times in the Gulf, I understand there are days when fish simply do not bite.  However, I have never had the unfortunate experience of fishing blind and catching zero fish, either trolling or anchored.  We did not mind trolling for a few hours to try our luck.  The problem is after trolling for hours, we expected to anchor, drop a few lines and catch some fish (perhaps not the largest but catch something).  Without a fish finder to find fish (and to find reefs where fish tend to be found), the success rate for fishing blind is not very high.  When I questioned the owner about the lack of a fish finder on board, no response was forthcoming - only excuses (leaving at 8am instead of 6am hindered the fishing and “just an unlucky day”).  In full disclosure, the owner offered a second trip for cost only (i.e., we pay only for his fuel).  Although very generous, why would I try a second trip on a boat I know is not fast enough to travel where it needs to be and without a fish finder if we decided to anchor and drop a line?  Again, the Captain and Deckhand were quite nice and the stereo system was quite loud, both of which made the trip bearable, just not the deep sea fishing trip we were expecting.  I leave this review so that others can make an informed decision based on our experience.

The day was beautiful, the scenery was awesome.  Maybe should have saved a ton of money and just did a nice boat cruise.  Not a single bite all all the entire trip.
