We had a wonderful time fishing with Dieter! He was very patient with our young son and took time to explain the ins and outs of catfishing with us. Will definitely return and recommend.

6 am - 12:15 pm. It was the best day of fishing of my life. We caught channel cat, blue, white, and flathead. 32 total catfish. A couple of blues were over 20 lbs. The captain had a plan for the day. Fish were biting early and poof nothing. He waited a reasonable amount of time and moved to a different location and the fish were not cooperating. The captain gave the fish a chance to bite,to no avail. We moved again. This time was the charm. We were on some hungry fish again. Thanks to dieter. I was a little concerned about the expected bad weather but it turned out to be a fantastic day of fishing. Captain Melhorn put us on the fish. Cat. Melhorn grew up in the area and has an expert knowledge of the lake. A friend and I chartered the trip and the conversation between the three of us was as much entertaining as the fishing. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I will definitely be going again.

He was so sweet, polite and made you feel comfortable and welcomed!! We had a great time!
