Hands down! The crew you need to book with! Worth every penny and minute. Great atmosphere, good music, cute little dog! You could feel the pride he puts into his boat and keeping his clients safe. Plus he helped me achieve catching a shark as big as me! Gave us great restaurants options on where to get our fresh catches cooked up, even the best ways to have it prepared. Great knowledge about the area around here, and is very friendly to talk too! His co crew man, Chris was just as great as the Captain Joe. They did not make me like a tourist one bit. I will definitely be booking again, and it will be the 8 hours one, not the 4 hours. 4 hour was the right amount of time for new people like us fishing in the ocean. But I’m coming back prepared and ready to take on the whole day fishing with the men next time! 🌊🎣

We booked with Reel Lucky after our depends trip was cancelled last minute due to weather.  Only having one day that we had set aside for fishing on spring break, Capt Joe and His mate Chris were able to accommodate us on a near shore/ in shore trip.  Conditions were far from ideal with wind gusts that made things difficult but we were still able to get on some fish and ended the day catching some sharks.  Chris did a great job keeping 5 lines baited.  We had a great time and I look forward to fishing with them again.

The original trip we booked with another Charter got canceled because of weather so, at 10:00 the night before we were supposed to go out we were scrambling to try to find somebody that would take us despite the fact that it was going to be raining.  Captain Joe had a charter already booked in the morning but he offered to take us out in the afternoon and do his best despite the weather forecast. He let us know up front that we may have to turn around and it might not work out but we really appreciated the effort. Not only did we not have to turn around we had a great time and caught lots of fish. Yes it was a bit cold and rainy but despite that they he and Chris stayed out the full time and made sure that we were able catch plenty of fish. We weren’t able to go as far out as we would have liked to because of the weather so a lot of them were small but we did get plenty of Keepers too. We are already planning a trip back when the weather is better!
