Fall cobia fishing

Cobia have been immigrating back through the Destin area. For the last few weeks we have been hooking up with a few larger sizes. Cobia is known for being one of the best eat fishing in salt water.

Red snapper season is booking quick

Looks like we are going to have another awesome red snapper season in the Destin area. The season is from the 2 week of June the the end of July. Season time frame is subject to changes by the state of Florida. Bookings are going quickly. Definitely don't wait too long to book before all of the dates are gone. I have to give your group alot of credit, we had to endure some colder weather than normal for our area. The bite was a little tricky, but we were able to get on a few good spots. Captain James was very knowledgeable of where to catch the fish and very helpful in baiting and removing the fish and getting us back in the game quickly. He put us on a lot of different species of fish and kept the trip lighthearted and fun. His boat and equipment were top notch and we highly recommend him for fishing in Destin!

Captain James was absolutely phenomenal, he put us on amber jack that gave us the fight of our life, we caught mahi, grouper, snapper and saw dolphins. The captain was great to work with and kept us in the loop as far as weather and what to bring. 11/10 would recommend anyone trying to get some serious fishing in!

The captain was very nice and informative. Sadly the water was so bad ( which the weather channel did not predict) most of the trip was spent holding on lol and only two poles were allowed in the water at one time. We didn’t catch anything big like we expected so that was a huge let down but overall it wasn’t a bad experience. We did catch some neat fish and my son caught a baracooda which was cool! Thanks for an honest review, your feedback is very helpful to improve our trips for future clients. Weather forecast was way off and it was definitely a challenge to just stay on our feet and hold a rod at the same time. Caught lots of fish just not that really big one we were hoping for. Our fishing trip was awesome with captain James! We caught fish right off the bat, and as soon as we weren’t getting any bites the captain would head to a new spot and immediately put on fish again! My brother and I had so much fun together and with captain James, he made us feel like he was taking two of his old friends out fishing! Captain James truly cares about customer service!
