Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for your feedback. My sincerest apologies that your experience was not a 5 star one. Fishing at the reef is normally a great experience for all skill levels with more options of fish to catch vs inshore. Normally, I do offer offshore fishing options both bottom fishing and trolling with my other boat and will hopefully be able to offer them again next year. Regarding the weather, thank you for acknowledging it cant be counted on. These afternoon summer storms can be tricky however I do remember offering the option to go back in vs staying out and fishing. If rescheduling is possible based on availability that is always an option all you had to do was ask. Again, my apologies for your charter not meeting your expectations especially one that should have been special one for your family. I hope you will give us another chance in the future minus the rain.

Thanks for the review Conner, it was nice having you guys on board. That was a tough day especially with the wind. When’s it’s blowing 20 out of the NE it makes everything challenging. I’m happy you caught a redfish, setting the hook in that current takes some getting used to. I feel bad that several of those big fish broke us off too. We found them, just couldn’t turn theirs heads or get that hook set. I know fishing in SC can be different than in Fla. where you normally fish, because our water temperature fluctuates many of our species are seasonal. Maybe we can try it in the fall when the bull reds and tarpon you were looking for are around. To get those kingfish we need a much calmer day to get out into the ocean, they show up in June but the fall can be a good time for that too.
