I’ve been on a lot of fishing trips in my day but not many better than this one .  Captain Josh was outstanding.  He knew exactly how to get us on the fish.  He was great with my 9 year old son and was super fun to visit with.  The boat was very clean and comfortable and the fishing equipment was in great condition.  I’ll definitely recommend captain Josh with Grand Slam Charters to everyone I know that is coming to the keys.

My buddies and I went out with Josh over a 2 day span.  Booked again right away after the first day was an amazing success.  Second day, full day, was a great time as well.  We told Josh we wanted some variety in what we were catching and wanted to bring fish home.  Josh got us limits of fish both days, it was awesome. My buddy brought home probably 20lbs of filets and we ate quite a few of them as well at a local restaurant Josh recommended, which was delicious.  We caught Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper, King Fish, Bonita, Grouper, and we lost several fish to god knows what…but they were big.  Overall, we caught fish all day, we drank a few beers, and we had a blast in the boat.  We plan to come back and fish with Josh again in the future and I would highly recommend using him as a captain.  It was nice to have someone with so much experience and know-how captaining the boat.  It was really seamless and didn’t have to do much of anything except put the line in the water, set the hook, and reel them in.  Josh filleted them all up for us.  This guy has been fishing forever and knows how to catch fish.  Thanks again, Josh.

We had a blast! Trust me the fishing experience is it’s Captain Josh is second to none. He’s born and raised Florida, been fishing 20 plus years as a pro, and just a great guy!
We caught more fish than most and we had fun start to finish! We’ll be booking with Josh again and probably do a lobster trip with him.
If you want to have fun, eat wha you catch, and learn a lot about fishing then call Captain Josh and get after it!

Great trip . Mosquitos were a little intense at times, caught several types of fish. We did catch and release. Saw manatee’s and even had a shark eat one of my fish before I got it to the boat , Awesome . Went to several locations. Captain Josh was great made us feel very comfortable. He was very knowledgeable of the area and fish. Showed us several technics and was very patient. Excellent trip would definitely recommend.
