1. He started asking me to set up rods.i told him I don’t fish, I just came to be with my husband. He said this trip was for working, not for fun. 2. He told me to drive the boat without asking if I was comfortable in pretty choppy waters. He mocked me when I wasn’t steering well. 3. We told him our Spanish was bad and we only spoke a little. He proceeded to explain things in Spanish and then get mad when we didn’t understand. 4. My husband lost two fish that he had hooked. Only after that point did he explain in English the amount of seconds. 5. He took us to fish for Marlin and tigerfish after we clearly asked for Dorado. 6. He took over a line to help when my husband hooked a third fish, a shark. He “helped” by letting the shark get away after he adjusted the line bc he didn’t want to deal with the catch/release. Then he mocked my husband for losing “8 fish.” 9. He proceeded to show us pictures of other guests so had caught fish. What was the point of this? 10. All our bait were used or dead by hour 3. He insisted dead bait worked and we couldn’t obtain more live bait. It didn’t work so the last two hours were absolutely no action. 11. We rode with a line out on the way back per his instructions. Then he stopped the boat, yelling at us that it was dangerous bc the line had gotten caught on something miles away. My husband asked him to calm down and he continued. 12. The last twenty minutes riding back were brutal. He sped like a madmen, not responding to us when we asked him to slow down. I’m going to have to get a massage and a chiropractor appointment as soon as I get home today. 13. After all that, he said no propina? My husband explained that we weren’t treated with respect and Hollywood proceeded to argue.
14. Also hooks were dull, lines were brittle. Definitely affected ability to fish!

Trip was boring and our hands did not even tough the fishing rods for the entire duration. How can you expect your customers to just sit and wait. At least they should of been able to try to fish or grab a hold of the fishing pool. I would recommend fishing tours in cabo san Lucas side not san jose side.

The boat was fine but the captain (Hollywood) was extremely annoying with his dirty jokes and ridiculous stories.  He was also very bossy and constantly snapped at us all day long for not knowing what we were doing; sorry but we had never been ocean fishing before.  Hollywood also threw back three of our larger fish when we wanted to keep them.  Finally, the fishing gear that was supplied was also sub-par with cheap broken reels and line that was extremely frayed and in really bad shape so even if we hooked something large we would have probably lost it.  I would not recommend Daliken at all.
