- Background
- The captain's first job was in a water sports activities center when he was 18 years old. He worked there as a swimming, sailing, diving, and snorkeling guide. Then he moved to the famous 14th Street to a community of local fishermen where he worked for 10 years as a reception guide for customers looking for boat rides, snorkeling, and all types of fishing trips. After that, the captain took the decision to buy a boat so he could take out his own customers and do his best to put smiles on their faces. The captain tries to learn something new about fishing every day!
- Techniques
- The captain's fishing styles and techniques all depend on the season. For example, the trolling season is during March, April, May, and June. For Mahi, Sailfish, and Marlin, he uses for bait ballyhoo covered with some lure-like squid. November to February allows for deep bottom fishing for Red Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack using bait or jigs (jigging). Another option is to do shallow trolling 25-35' deep or night fishing for Jack and Tarpon using lures or live bait!
