Captain and deck hand were primo. Got on the water at 6, picked up bait, had our first fish at 6:20. Continued to slay the fish, 2 Spanish mackerel, 3 dorado, and 12 skip jacks by 10am. At one point we had a quad, 4 rods hooked up at once and the first mate was on it, landed all of them. In a week where they weren’t seeing many dorado they put us in three beauties. Water wasn’t the greatest with swell and wind chop, but the ride was thanks to the captain. Was a great trip and learning experience. When I come back I’m definitely booking this boat again.

The captain and the deck hand were great. Just a couple of things I wanna mention that left me frustrated.  I have been on plenty of trips here in cabo san lucas. Im all about transport.
1st thing it states in policy’s that you can pay with debit card. I come in the morning to try and pay and the boat owner tells me they cannot accept my card demand cash only. 2nd thing no where on the site does it say it excludes,Live bait,Ice,filleting fees.

There were so many surprises and was not prepared based on the information provided by boat owner.

I would recommend if you put more information in your listing on what’s included and what’s not so there are no surprises so people do not have to go through what I did.

I had no cash to even tip the captain or deck as we had to use it to pay the fee for the boat to owner and just enough for all the surprises.

This was my experience.  I would recommend the captain and deck any day. There just needs to be more information provided. so ask questions.

Took all day trip (8 hrs) in search of Marlin. While we say Marlin jumping out of the water on several occasions, our captain and crew (Capt. Manuel, Sammy, Jonathan) could not coax them to bite.  However, we did catch the largest fish either of us had ever landed (there were two in our party).  We caught tuna and shark.  The fight from the chair was tough for both of us and we actually tag-teamed pulling the shark into the boat - EXCITING!!  While we knew it was not the right season for Marlin, our crew stayed focused on seeking them out.  We could have given up on Marlin and sought and caught smaller game fish but smaller fish is NOT why I chose to come to Cabo and go fishing.  I was really impressed with the crew and I made sure I was clear with my instructions on what I wanted to accomplished and asked many questions before our arrival to make sure there would be no ‘surprises’ like add’l costs for bait, fishing license, food, etc.  BTW, regarding costs on our trip, there were NO surprises!  I would definitely work with this crew again on a return trip .. but I would make sure I go during peak Marlin season next time.  The five of us had enough fish for three nights worth of dinners and then gave a bunch of the left over fish to locals who ate quite well with the fresh fish we had that was left over…  (fish tacos, sashimi, blackened tuna and shark, tempura fish, fish burritos, ceviche, fried fish, etc.)  Those two fish put me over the edge on the amount and ways I could eat fish each night!  The chef at one of the three restaurants even let me come back and snap some photos of her preparing our mega-meal for that particular evening!

This was our second year with the Ursula and crew and when I say they are the best I mean it! We had an 8 hour trip and within the first hour our son caught a 4 1/2 foot mako shark. They brought it in safetly and with skill! After a couple hours we finally hooked a Marlin. Between the 3 strong guys on our boat and both crew men it took 3 1/2 hours to fight a massive Marlin! The way the crew and captain stayed on this fish and the skill behind the boat maneuvers is unmatched! We finally got the Marlin in and headed back to dock and we were the only boat the entire day who came back with any fish! It was absolutely incredible and we will be back and 100% these are our guys!

Manuel, Juan and Sammy gave us a great experience today.  We had a cooler full of fish in a short amount of time.  Probably 12-15 small tuna before we left the cove.  If we went to long without a bite, they were changing the lures.  Making sure we had the best day fishing as possible.  We didn’t catch the marlin we were hoping for, but the 61” Mahi will do!!  Thanks again crew for the fantastic day!!
