We booked a half day trip with Captain Frenchy to introduce our young son to the sport of fishing in hopes that he will fall in love with it. My expectations were exceeded in every way imaginable.

Captain Frenchy hooked a big redfish on his first cast and instructed my son to reel it in, resulting in his first landed fish. Having a huge redfish as the very first fish a young boy has ever landed is pretty insane! Especially since the fishing condition was not very favorable with high barometric pressure and low salinity. But Captain Frenchy’s knowledge and experience came through again and again as we continued to hook and reel in all sorts of different types of fish that day. We caught nine different species of fish in challenging conditions! Captain Frenchy is unbelievable. He WILL put you on fish. This was even more apparent at the end of the day as we were cleaning our catch and numerous boats went by the fish cleaning stations without stopping because they had not caught anything that day.

In addition to being a super hero at finding fish, Captain Frenchy was amazing with my young son. He was so patient and attentive with him in giving instructions of what to do and teaching him how to fish. It was absolutely incredible. Needless to say, my son has now declared that he loves fishing (perhaps only if it’s with Captain Frenchy) and we will be repeat customers for life.

Thank you so much Captain Frenchy for showing us a good time and putting us on fish. We can’t wait to go out with you again on the next trip.

Cannot recommend capt Frenchey enough , I was a spectator and my husband was fishing , he made us both very welcome on board his boat and did his upmost to ensure my husband got a chance to catch fish which he did ! We both had a brilliant day enjoying the fishing the scenery which is stunning and capt frenchy’s company he was informative , humorous and thoughtful an excellent day , highly recommended!

We had a great time with captain Frenchy! Going out with him is not just about catching fish, it’s an entire experience! We went on a day in the middle of summer during a heat wave and still caught fish! Frenchy can see things in the water that I can’t, and often tells you, you’re going to get a bite before you do. I have fished my whole life and don’t know how he does it! Hence the nickname,  the fish whisperer! He works hard on the boat and doesnt stop until he finds you fish. I will be going out with captain Frenchy again. Highly recommend.

Captain Frenchy, Hubert Sandot is a man of many hats. Articulate, passionate. Chef, pilot, boat Captain. His skills of reading water, water temp, clarity, bait fish, fish movement is superlative with his passion of Charter Captain. Experience of fishing with Captain Frenchy is once in a lifetime; maybe twice, I cannot wait to fish and catch with him again.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but captain frenchy definitely delivered. Things started out rough but captain frenchy put us on the fish and then we just started hammering them.
