We had booked a morning trip, but the Capt. called & said it would be too windy.  He suggested an afternoon trip.  It was myself, 2 grandsons (7 & 5), & son-in-law.  We started out trolling & had several Spanish mackerel in the boat shortly thereafter.  We then headed out further & bottom fished.  We caught red snapper, a amberjack, catfish, remora, & perch.  Unfortunately the snapper & amberjack were out of season & we had to throw them back.  The Capt. was very personable & made the trip great for the boys.  I highly recommend 850 Charters.

We had a great time fishing with Jared! I booked the inshore/deep sea excursion. The inshore fishing included trolling through the bay and in the area where boats were leaving with lines off the back of the boat. We only caught one fish there. I definitely recommend going out to the Gulf if you want to hold a rod and reel fish in. We appreciated the communication between the guides because it helped us find fish to catch. It was a good first time experience. The next time we will definitely go farther out to catch the bigger fish.

Captain Jarred did an outstanding job getting us on fish. He was very attentive to our needs. Caught many different types of fish. I highly recommend using this charter for a fun day of fishing.

My wife and two kids (7 and 4) and me had a great trip with Jared. He put us on fish quickly and was great with the kids - coaching them and cheering them on. We would definitely fish with him again.

Jared was great! My son and I got to catch a bunch of reef fish. Jared was always quick to freshen up the bait, felt like I got to be the kid for once. Even in our 3 hour trip we still had time to try and catch some larger ones. The first got away but we managed to pull in the 2nd. Thanks for a great experience Jared!
