- I was raised fishing in Rhodes Island waters, and I have commercially fished RI for 35 years. I have run charters for over 20 years. The ocean is one of my greatest passions . When I was younger, I was a competitive freediver/spearfisherman and US national spearfishing champion. I am fortunate to hold two world records. The world record speared Striped Bass and pole-speared Striped Bass. Spearit also holds the largest Albacore tuna rod&reel Rhode Island state record. If you have no experience fishing, we are happy to help you learn.
- Techniques
- Jigging as well as sight casting to breaking fish are among my favorite techniques.
