We booked a 6 hour salmon/halibut trip for my wife and I and four of our kids. We started off fishing on the bottom and caught a few halibut and some rockfish. Captain Terry checked with other fishermen in the area to see how the salmon fishing was going. It was opening day of King season and there were a lot of boats out but very few salmon being caught. Captain Terry gave us the option of going after salmon or staying where we were catching fish. We stayed and ended up with 4 halibut, 2 cod, and 6 rockfish. Terry and Carvin were super nice and very helpful with my younger children. Ot was a fun trip and would definitely recommend it to others.

We booked a 4-hour salmon charter at the end of May, and although the salmon hadn’t migrated to the Juneau area yet, Captain Terry was incredibly flexible, ensuring we still had a fantastic fishing experience. Sneak peek: we caught 15 fish, including Rockfish and a Halibut! Our trip with Captain Terry and his deckhand was not just about fishing; it was a four-in-one adventure. We went whale watching, saw hundreds of seals and sea lions, and ended with sightings of dozens of bald eagles.
