Sea conditions can be difficult at times.

Fortunately for us here in Puerto Aventuras, we have a deep trench that runs right outside the entrance to the marina. This is why we can start trolling immediately and do not have to go farther out to sea. Under better circumstances when the fish are around and biting we catch billfish, wahoo and Mahi mahi very close in to shore along this trench. So not at all necessary to go farther out to sea.
