This is not a fishing trip, but WATCH a person fish,.  I told the captain that 3 out of the 4 people were not experienced but I was.  I even showed him my 110 cm (approx. 50 lb striped bass) that I caught at the Cape with poppers.  I told Captain David that I was bringing my 2 nephews fishing and wanted to give them the best experience and catch something that they can catch and eat.  He told me that we would target Jack Crevailis and something that was a slot fish.  I said we would like to get something and Jack is fine if we can get that.  Well the whole trip was watch the captain fish.  Only time we touched the fishing rod was when the boat we were on had to go under the low bridge.  Helped them put the rod and reel on the deck. By the way, the waters at the lagoon way filthy and stunk of sewage and there was no way we would have been able to eat anything we caught.  Any case, we still thought that we might just enjoy the day fishing. Fishing never happened.  When we got to the first spot, Hiram explained that we would be using the live bait and drift technique to catch.  I thought he was going to bait the line and give it to us to cast and hold on to the rod to fish, but he placed the rods in the rod holder.  From then on we were instructed to sit and wait.  I did not know when we would start fishing.  We did not get to even touch the fishing rod from then on.  We watch Hiram do his thing for the next three hours.  It was the longest three hours of my life.  Just imagine two teenage boys sitting and not able to do anything for 3 hours!!!!!  I have heard all kinds of comments!  “You paid good money to watch this guy fish and he cannot even catch anything.”  There was 1 bite throughout the whole 4 hour trip and he could not even land the fish.  The captain jumped around the boat with us just sitting there and watching.  Basically spent $500.00 for a boat ride and watch Hiram fish.  This was a complete scam.  I would definitely say not to book this if you want to fish.  I tipped the guy minimal, 10% because the site says that they do not get paid and depend entirely on tips.Go for it if you want an expensive boat ride.  Would have given MINUS five stars if I was able, and would have reported it to any organization if I was able as a SCAM.  Bottom line, DON’T BOOK because it is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!
