On “beach” vacations, I always look for a charter to break out from the regular grind of beach/pool, and, to et a unique perspective of the area we are staying.  For this I rely highly on reviews and Captain Ted’s reviews speak for themselves. 

He was available and corresponded quickly prior to our trip.  He was on time and transparent about what we intended to do on the trip.  He recognized our kids (13, 10, & 9) and catered to them with great class. 

We were able to catch a variety of fish and he was more than happy to teach the local hand-lining method, which my daughter and I tried and caught onto quickly.

We then did some snorkeling and saw reef fish along with sea turtles.  His son is his deckhand and is a first class young man.  He was very attentive to our 9 year old son that was less than thrilled about jumping into open waters.  He stayed with him near the boat to comfort him and make sure he had a great experience. 

Very classy, respectful crew all around with a great sense of humor to boot.  Thanks Captain Ted and if my hat turns up, hang onto it and I’ll grab it on our next trip ;)

Do not hesitate to book with these guys; worth the money and a great time was had by all.  Easily one of the highlights of our trip!

As I got in the boat I explained to captain Ted that I have a 3, 6 year old and wife that don’t do to well in rough conditions. He assured me he will take care of us. Every step of the trip he kept checking in with us to see how we were doing. We started by going swimming with turtles. Followed by a secluded beach with a nice restaurant. Before going home my daughter wanted to catch a fish. Captain Ted navigated us to a spot where he showed us the bohemian way of fishing. The kids reeled in few fish by hand and loved it. He always kept safety in mind and would highly reccomend him to any family that is looking for a good time on the water

Fishing, snorkeling the reef life and swimming with the sea turtles in their natural habitat we did all in one day with Captain Ted.  In addition, Ted took us to an island beach to cook the fish we caught. He fileted and prepared them as we swam with the turtles; meaning the fun didn’t stop for a moment. For a little bit extra we got to experience the authentic Bahamian Island way of preparing and eating the greatest fish lunch we could ask for in the Caribbean.  Make sure to let him know in advance if you’d like this experience so he can make the proper preparations. Also, please make sure to tip him fairly according to the service he provides. His service and our time was so amazing and enjoyable to say the least.  Family friendly and safety were top priority for Captain Ted to give us the most fun and memorable moment we could have on our trip to the Bahamas.  Thank you, Captain Ted, for the memories to cherish.
