If I could give him 10 stars I would, but he was so informative and his assistant who did all of the communication was very informative about making sure we knew where and what time to be meeting the captain at. our kids caught so many fish right away. we also got to see a real life Shark and the captain was concerned for our safety and made sure we Went somewhere safer. He is the perfect captain especially with kids. Highly recommend.

Great crew!  Did a few hours of reef fishing and caught our dinner.  Then did some snorkeling with the turtles, and a different reef for some additional aquatic life.  Made some great memories for myself and my two sons, 14 years old and 11.  Directed us to The Poop Deck, where they fried up our catch for a great meal after the charter.  Book with confidence, as Captain Ted has plenty of experience to make your adventure enjoyable!

I got this charter for my boyfriend as a gift and we had the best experience of our entire vacation. Meeting and spending time with Ted and being shown around by him was once in a lifetime. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, professional, fun, and truly all of the nice things someone can possibly be. For our last fully day in Paradise Island, I booked a 4-hour private charter with Captain Ted which included fishing, snorkeling with the sea turtles, and trip to Rose Island. First and foremost, Captain Ted and his crew are extremely professional, trustworthy, and highly communicative which I greatly appreciated. Leading up to the trio the crew checked in with me, promptly answered my questions, and were super helpful with providing updates and information.

As I was staying at the Atlantis, Captain Ted generously picked us up at the Margaritaville dock which was an easy walk through Marina Village.

Once aboard, Captain Ted gave us a really interesting history lesson about the Bahamas and what we were passing. Our first part of our trip was focused on fishing. Captain Ted was extremely gracious, patient and knowledgeable about spots to fish at. The first 2 we were not successful but he didn’t waste time. He quickly found us a third spot where we were able to catch quite a few fish if different varieties. The whole time Captain Ted entertained us with stories about culture and traditions and just general information about the island which was enjoyable as we passed the time fishing.

What I also appreciated was that he allowed us extra time to fish, and balanced that out with our snorkeling excursions.

All in all I highly recommend Captain Tes if you’re looking for a fun and relaxing private charter. The boat was impeccably clean and well maintained. Captain Ted went above and beyond to make sure we were safe throughout our trip and had the best time!

I had a fantastic time with Captain Ted. I booked Te’vaughn for a 4-hour solo fishing trip. We started at 1:30, and the crew made sure I got my full-time’s worth!

He took great care to make sure we found the right spots. The sea was choppy, but he knew some good bay-side spots for us to fish. The boat was clean and orderly, and Ted and his mate were super kind and fun. Captain Ted was educational and showed us some unique islands and shared some of the history of the Bahamas. He even showed me how time line fish, Bahamian style! It was a great trip, and Captain Ted was super generous and hospitable. Highly recommend their charter!
