Served by a reserve crew.  They could not have been less interested.  They basically phoned it in.

Hello sorry just didn’t have that good a time.  Captain was rude most of the time.  Captain lost 3 out of 4 fish and we only fished in one place for 4 hours.

Due to the fact I couldn’t reach this guy by his mobile, an got no reply to my email, our day started off chaotic !
I went to meet the boat at Los Muertos at 7 am , not there !
Luckily for me, another panga operator, got hold of the owner, and I was told that the reservation was for 8am, at the marina !
At this point I was very pissed off!
Anyway, the boat came to me eventually, at our original rendezvous point, about 45 minutes late !
The boat captain, Nicholas, was a very interesting an friendly guy and certainly knew some rigging and fishing tricks. He got us underway as soon as we met.
But, we only hooked up to one rooster fish , which un hooked just off the back of the boat, an only had two other bites !
I wasn’t too impressed, as this location , was supposed to be full of fish and other boats boated several good fish.
Nicholas did show me an area full of tropical fish, which was a brief an very interesting fishing interlude.
If we had boated some fish at least, I would have been at lot happier customer ! !
I will admit the captain tried to get me hooked up, but as soon as my 4hrs was up, we were back to port !
I booked this panga because of its rating ! ! 
Felt he just wanted my money !!
Not impressed !!

I would not recommend this charter for 1 reason, the captain did not know how to tie a hook! Boat & equipment was good, we didn’t have Gabriel as our captain, I believe his name was Nikolai, very nice, friendly person. So.. close to the end of my trip we hooked a very large Jack Crevalle, got the fish to the boat to have the knot slip out, the captain tied a new hook, secured it to the gunnel to pull the knot tight and it slipped out as well, losing the hook over the side of the boat! Being a experienced fisherman I found it humorous but definitely not impressive! If this would have happened earlier in the trip I would have tied my own hook. The 6 hr. trip ended up costing $500 cnd.
