- Born and raised in Astoria, OR, I have been chasing Salmon, Sturgeon, and Steelhead on the lower Columbia River since I can remember. Having that local knowledge has proven to catch fish while others are struggling. Guiding has been a dream of mine since high school when I was a bait boy on a charter boat the summer of my senior year. Since then, I told myself one day I'll have my own sled and continue to help people hook into that once-in-a-lifetime "King” Salmon or the elusive 10' Sturgeon.
