- Captain Jason Godwin has spent his whole life on the water and has always loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. The captain is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a retired Federal Game Warden. The best part of his 22-year career in law enforcement was encountering people who were as passionate about the outdoors as he was, especially young people. For Captain Jason, being able to share in the experience of a child or young adult catching their first fish is the most gratifying experience there is. What he loves the most is being allowed to share his passion with his guests, and letting them have the time of their lives is his main goal.
- Techniques
- Most of your fishing is done on light tackle with live bait that you catch in the shrimp net that you pull during the trip. You'll fish in 2-15' of water with bobbers or bottom fishing in the ICW and bays of Orange Beach. The captain occasionally fishes the jetties at Perdido Pass or does some trolling off the beach.
