Get them while you can. Our red snapper season closes September 15.. they’re biting better now than they was on opening weekend. I have some dates available.

We run out and catch our red snapper first then hit some tanker ships and catch a limit on cobia and then stop on the way in and finish the trip off catching redfish. this has been our norm.

The trolling is getting good and the Spanish mackerel are thick just a matter of time before we start catching the redfish trolling. Been catching the redfish bottom fishing along with the sharks

The fishing has been wonderful so far the sheeps head are in full force and the sharks, redfish,Spanish mackerel, and cobia are starting to show up

The sheep head have showed up in full force. they have officially started their spawn. They should be biting good for the next month or so. I have plenty of dates available. We would love to show y’all a good time.

This is our favorite time of the year to fish here at Shearwater Charters. As the dog days of summer come to a close, the fishing gets even better here on the Ms. Gulf Coast. Massive schools of bull reds churn the water to a froth as they feed on various forage that comes in with the cooler temps. We have seen schools encompassing several acres a few times this year. The Cobia start to make their fall run in September, so we look forward to that as well. Speckled trout continue to be dependable, as we have done well on our popular night time trout trips. The trout atent as big as they ate early in the year, but the numbers are there. September is primed to be off the charts this year, so if yiu arent on the books yet let us know!
