This is our favorite time of the year to fish here at Shearwater Charters. As the dog days of summer come to a close, the fishing gets even better here on the Ms. Gulf Coast. Massive schools of bull reds churn the water to a froth as they feed on various forage that comes in with the cooler temps. We have seen schools encompassing several acres a few times this year. The Cobia start to make their fall run in September, so we look forward to that as well. Speckled trout continue to be dependable, as we have done well on our popular night time trout trips. The trout atent as big as they ate early in the year, but the numbers are there. September is primed to be off the charts this year, so if yiu arent on the books yet let us know!
