We had a great time on the Retriever! Captain Connor was super helpful and great with the kids (and patient with us adult non fishers!) While we didn’t get any keepers this trip, we caught 53 fish between the four of us! Beautiful day on the water! Highly recommend. Note: Would wear or pack pants to block the green heads!

The whole experience was great. The capt is very knowledgeable. He was great with my kids/father in law and taught them everything. Ive been on many charters in the last couple of years here. This is by far the best. During the trip I was planning my future trips with the capt. Smooth ride. We all caught and brought home some fish.

Had a perfect morning flounder fishing on the bay with my two young boys and my father n law with Capt Connor Brown with Retriever Fishing Charters!  We all caught fish and he was great with helping them learn!  Thanks for an awesome trip! We will definitely book again!

This man knows his stuff. We went out to the bay in the middle of July mainly to target flounder. Within 3 hours, my group had 30 throwbacks and 5 keepers on the boat. 2 people in my group had never fished saltwater before. Connor communicated to us very effectively and put us on fish. I highly recommend anyone to take a trip with him if you are visiting the Jersey Shore. Very authentic and professional captain.

Captain Connor Brown is a fishy dude. In November, Connor took me out fishing for Striped Bass. He was well equiped with all of the right gear. Whether it was fly gear or spinning tackle, he set me up perfectly. His communication on how to present the fly or lures was extremely helpful in landing some big striped bass.
