The Boca Grande redfish bite has been heating up this week, and our latest inshore fishing trip did not disappoint. We found solid redfish cruising the mangrove shorelines and staged up around oyster bars with the moving tide. After a few well-placed casts, our client hooked into a beautiful slot redfish that made a strong run before coming boatside. Water clarity has been excellent around Boca Grande, and the bait presence has been steady โ€” mullet schools are pushing through, keeping redfish active and feeding. Live bait and artificial presentations have both been producing quality fish. Spring is prime time for Boca Grande inshore fishing, and redfish are one of the top targets this time of year. Whether youโ€™re an experienced angler or bringing the family out for a fun day on the water, redfish offer exciting action and great photo opportunities.
