Booked a peacock bass trip, but due to high water, Francisco suggested a tarpon trip ( as the peacock would be very slow).
  Captain was on time, the boat was equipped and ready to go. Made a quick stop to get fresh live bait, then headed to the fishing grounds.
  We had high winds, rain storms, and choppy water at times, but we fished thru it. We hooked up on one Tarpon ( 80 to 100 pound range), which we lost after a nice fight. The loss was due to our inexperience in tarpon fishing. I was able to hook and land a Snook of a lifetime.
  We were the only boat hooking fish, out of the several we saw fishing. Francisco will do what ever he can to put a fish in your hands, but always remember. It’s Fishing, not catching, nothing is a guarantee, and you will have a great time with this Guide.

I can’t say enough good things about tarpon fishing with Captain Paco. My family and I had a wonderful experience. Captain Paco set the tone with great communication getting everything organized and had us on the water right on time. It was obvious that he took priority in safety and an overall enjoyable environment for everyone involved. He took us directly to a perfect spot and had us on tarpon for the whole trip. Paco was extremely knowledgeable about the area and his craft. He was extremely kind and patient with us and took the time to help throughout the process. We caught a bunch of beautiful tarpon and had a great time. Paco made it just as fun for my wife and daughter as he did for me. It truly felt like we were out on the water with a friend. Truly wonderful experience and we will absolutely get out again with Paco next time we’re in PR.

We had a fantastic time with Capt. Paco!  He was very knowledgeable and informative. I brought bananas on the boat. We debunked the myth,  caught a Barracuda! Hooked into multiple tarpon, though we couldn’t keep them on the lines. It was super fun being out on the water.

We had a Great time had bites here and there and a couple of heart racing moments almost catching tarpon. Overall Great time! The captain even recommended a place to eat Mexico lindo and the Food was some of the Best me and my family have had. Thank for a Great time Captain Mendez

This is a great charter if you’re looking to catch some tarpon! Despite the weather conditions and slow afternoon bite captainPaco managed to bring the fish in and land a killer tarpon but definitely recommend this charter if you looking to catch a fish!
