- Hi, I’m Captain Harvey Wall. I’m a North Carolina native, a U.S. Army veteran, and a graduate of the U.S. Maritime Academy. I’ve been a fishing guide since 2000, helping anglers of all skill levels to learn more about fishing and have fun at the same time. My love for fishing started early, thanks to my great-grandfather, who first put a rod in my hands. Ever since, I’ve spent my life on the water, learning the best ways to put fish in the boat. When you fish with me, you’re in for a fun, hands-on experience. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer, I’ll make sure you enjoy the trip while learning a thing or two about catching fish in the Carolinas. Let’s get you on the water!
- Techniques
- Light tackle lure fishing and fly fishing for inshore species such as Red Drum, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. My inshore charters are 95% lure fishing trips, fishing with jigs, soft plastics, topwater lures, etc… Kids charters and charters that are specifically targeting Black Drum or Sheepshead will use natural bait. My Nearshore fishing charters offer bottom fishing, jig fishing, and trolling. We’ll target Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia, Sea Bass, Bull Drum, and all types of sharks.
