Michelle surprised her Dad, Robert, with a multi species trip for his birthday. Not knowing what to expect, Robert adjusted very quickly. Michelle fine tuned her approach and both started catching fish after fish! We experimented with walleye to start and promptly put 9 keepers in the livewell! We then made a couple drifts for bass but they werenโ€™t cooperating. The drum, however, obliged both anglers offering up the incredible fight theyโ€™re known for. In the process, Robert caught the biggest fish of his life landing a channel catfish that was pushing 14 lbs! The bond between these two was joyful to witness. The boat was full of laughter and love. Another successful day on the water!

Russ came from Seattle to visit long time friend John. They decided to try a night walleye trip. After a slow start, things picked up a bit. Russ caught a 4lb + smallmouth to get us started. John knew his lure was working as he boated a record 9 rock bass while waiting for the walleye to turn on. Russ struck again with a beautiful 6 lb + walleye. John reacted by getting a nice smallmouth and a quality, nearly 5 lb walleye of his own. Another super day gsining two more new friends.

Andy and his son Andrew were in town for a wedding and wanted to try Lake Erie. They were open to catch whatever species that were biting. We formulated a plan at the dock: try for walleye then move in to target smallmouth bass. Well, the plan was very successful! They caugh their first walleyes ever, hooking 4 of them in the first hour. Then moving in to fish smallmouth, they again showed off their skills by boating several very nice fish, mixing in several giant drum as well. Ended up being another great day on the water. Great father / son combo making what I do special!

Very cute young couple came onboard today. Jennaโ€™s experience was limited to smaller fish (bluegills and perch) and her friend Carlos, from Los Angeles CA, had NEVER caught a fish! Well, things changed dramatically today! Jenna mansged to catch one of the biggest fish ever taken on my boat, an 18 lb channel catfish- also her biggest EVER! She also added in several giant drum. Carlos caught many large fish today in multiple species and really handled the hard fights well, especially for his first time! Just another couple friends made! Great day for sure!

Kelly was heading up to Toronto to see her beloved NY Yankees play and decided I to take her husband and son fishing on the trip up. They had themselves a day! Caught mulitiple species and huge ones to boot! In the mix were smallmouth up to 4.5 lbs, drum up to 8 lbs, a northern pike pushing 9 lbs and even a perch! Just a great family. Its obvious that theyโ€™re rsining Jayden up proper. Just a great young man!

Peter got a fishing trip for his 10th birthday! Decided to bring his brother Colton and step dad Chase along for the day. At 10 years old Peter is what we call a โ€œgood stickโ€. He has fishing skill, patience and determination well beyond his years. He absolutely crushed fish all day! Chase was very consistent all day long only boating the targeted species - smallmouth bass. Both of them caught their personal bests including a couple beasts! Colton was a story unto himself. He started off not catching a thing for almost the first two hours. Tough on an 8 year old when your dad and brother are doing so well. But, after a little moaning and groaning he settled in and began his own personal onslaught! He boated his biggest fish ever! The look on his face was precious as some of the fish fought so hard he could barely turn the reel handle! Mom (Heather) should be very proud of her guys. Very polite, smart and friendly young men. It was a blast having them on board!
