Derick was great at keeping us busy between crabbing and fishing. We learned a lot about the area, caught our limit and had so much fun!!!

My family and I (including our dog) had a fun day on the water with Capt Derick. We started off the morning catching crabs (estimate over 60 crabs), then we did some fishing, stopped at a beach and finished with lunch at the Dock of the Bay. Great time on the Smuggler with Capt Derrick. Beautiful boat, very comfortable. Derrick works hard to get you a great experience; deployed 18 lines and trolled over 20 miles to catch our rockfish. Both trips the Smuggler was morred convenient to the action. We met one time at Ches Beach and the other at Kentmorre which eliminated run time and increased fishing time!  My group likes to be hands on and Derrick adjust to your groups experience. I will definitely book again soon.
