Steve was an absolute gem. After having two trips cancelled on us because of the weather conditions this week, this morning was the last chance my 11 year old nephew (and very avid fisherman) had to go out fishing. Luck didn’t appear to be on our side, because after more than four hours, nothing was biting. It was so uneventful, my nephew began hoping to catch a boot. But twenty minutes before we had to turn around and head back to shore, something began tugging one of the back lines. It took my nephew 15-20 minutes to reel in what turned out to be a 28.9 pound king salmon! But even if we had not caught anything, Steve was the best: patient, gentle, expert, and just a wonderful guide and captain. When we had to reschedule because of the weather, he was very helpful and a good communicator. This really was the best highlight of our visit to Toronto and hopefully a lasting memory (that also makes me his favorite aunt….). Thank you again!

This was our first charter fishing experience. Captain Steve was very friendly and accomodating. Before the trip he answered all messages and questions instantly and helped us be well prepared. On the day of the trip he generously shared fishing tipps and tricks. He seems very knowledgeable and passionate about fishing and boating. He also took the time to involve our five year old dauther and gave her little tasks to feel included. We felt very safe at all times. Captain Steve was very generous with his time and was happy to extend it in hope of catching more fish. We ended up catching two big salmons and were overall very satisfied. We’re definitely coming back!

Captain Steve was highly professional and organized from start to finish. Before the trip, he provided clear, detailed updates about what to expect and where to meet. On the boat, he ensured a comfortable experience with a canopy for shade, mini fans to keep us cool, and all the essential fishing gear. He also shared plenty of helpful tips and tricks on fishing techniques, the best spots to fish, and how to properly fillet the catch! Best of all—we caught six big fish!

Steve was very patient and easy going during our fishing trip. Very informative about the lake and fish. Worked hard to find the fish and helped us get them in the boat! We will definitely book with Nautiboy again!! Thank you again.

My dad and father-in-law booked a charter with Steve and had a great time. They are looking forward to the next opportunity to head out with him and catch some fish!
