Everything was so beautiful, all the preparations, not as good as buying a fishing license, various factors when setting out, such as weather, the beautiful scenery along the way after departure, and luck when fishing. We were extremely lucky. We returned with a full load, and we harvested more than just a full catch.

Yes, the spot Captain Brad took us to was about a 15 minute boat ride from Carnelian Bay. We fished in 150 feet depth and caught many Macinaw Trout. We kept three and released the others.

Early start good during summer as it gets hot- but great way to experience fishing with a professional.

Have patience. The fish were taking longer to bite here and were smaller in this area. Relax and enjoy the view while waiting.

Weather is always a crap shoot. One day is sunny, the next is windy and a winter snow alert.
