What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Noord for the first time?

poke atound where the fishing has been good if its up around lighthouse go out of noord if its out around gas rig go out of orenjested either or its 20 mins different which in theary mean 40 mins longer fishing.

great trip picked us up 10min away from cruise port and we fished an did some snorkeling perfect day except fro th fact it was very windy the captain dropped us off at a restaurant tht cooked our catch!! th captain hos wife and there son were very nice. His son is a wonderful young man. very good worh people and patient teching us. had so much knowledge

Wind can play a major factor. Historically speaking…. It is an exceptionally great time of year to fish pelagic. Unfortunately Hurricane Melissa (stayed a couple of hundred miles away) may have affected over-all conditions

We fished just south of the lighthouse, water can get a bit “sporty” there, so make sure to understand the water conditions to select a location that is comfortable for all depending on your “sea worthiness”

Take your sea sick medicines the night before so it’s in your system, avoid alcohol and greasy foods the night before so you can enjoy the trip you pay for. The deep sea trips are rough and it’s just the way Aruba is.

Do not book with this company, they made clear they did not care if you catch anything as they were getting paid either way. They never changed the bait or lures once throughout the 4 hour trip. They insulted me saying “women do not belong on fishing trips”. For a place that thrives on tourism this company is an embarrassment to the entire island.

Be patient if you are offshore fishing. Wind makes it rough so take all the advice of your captain. We actually moved our trip three days forward at his suggestion. Reduced wind allowed us a much better trip.

Be prepared for the ocean. Dramamine night before, patches, whatever you need to help you not get sick. the ocean in Aruba can get pretty choppy. Just be prepared and expect it. The fish are there as I’ve always caught fish while fishing in Aruba.

The North side of the island has large swells, so if you get motion sickness, you will definitely want patches or medication. We did see land the entire time during our trip, so that did help keep your eye on the horizon.

Aruba is a windy county, so there are big waves due to wind. Deep sea fishing is awesome but not for woozy people. If you get sea sick or are not an ocean person this is not for you. Leave the ones who aren’t into fishing in land & you will have a great time.

You won't be disappointed with, Keeping it Reel! Captain Alexandro supplies all of your needs. My daughter only had to set and reel while they let me bait, cast, and retrieve. He put us on the fish first try and we caught fish until we were worn out! There's nothing that could have made our charter any better, nothing.

We had 5 or 6 hook-ups during the 31/2 hours of trolling and we got 2 fish to the boat. One was a decent Wahoo which I told the Captain was my target species. The water was a little rough where the Wahoo were so if you are prone to sea sickness, probably not a good trip for you. One of the bottom fishing trips might be better.

We hit rough seas which cut our outing short. Everything we landed was before we hit the rough stuff. Our biggest catch was a 30 lb king mackerel which we got on a hand line...that was interesting but would have prefered more action with less waves.

Be hello sure to pack sunscreen and a sun shirt. The reflections off the water can be tough on lighter skin.

Be prepared to not catch fish cause that can happen. With the wind the boat can get very rocky. I would not reccomend for little kids or people that get sea sick very easily

Go out in the morning when it might be calmer waters. if its choppy and youre not used to being on a boat, take anti nausea meds.

All you need to bring is positive attitude and sunscreen, the rest is all covered!!! Life it too short, do not wait!

Be prepared for some rough waters if the fish are there sunrise charters will find them he’s got a good boat and a hard working crew

Great time. We were also able to take our catch to a local restaurant where they cooked it up for us.

Bring something to drink and sunscreen. Maybe a long sleeve shirt to protect from the sun. Enjoy your time

Marcelino does everything he can to get you on the fish so be patient if you don’t get fish in the first hour or so. The water can get rough sometimes so plan accordingly.

Super rough. Nothing of any significance was caught in 6hrs of trolling. Crew/captain was super nice.

Seek out Sunrise Charters you won’t be disappointed just find friends to share the fish with because you will have way to much fish to eat!!
