What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Bremerton, Washington for the first time?

This charter was everything we’d hoped for and more! My husband, son and I caught our limit in less than 90 mins! Gorgeous ride in and out and the icing on the cake was Matt’s sweet friend Lucy, a resident seal, and her pups who joined us for the fish cleaning. 14/10 recommend. We will definitely be back for more trips!

Dress in layered clothes if you go out early as the weather can warm up quickly during the summer. Matt is an easy going and very knowledgeable captain. We have been out on four trips with him in just over a year and we always have great time.

This is the perfect time of year for fishing, and the Brownsville Marina is a great location to get out to the Sound quickly.

We did only catch 1 fish, and didn’t see any other boats that were out catching fish. So overall a slow day. We still had a great time!

We only fished a half day and the fish weren't biting. This isn't a very large sample size but from our experience this may not be the best time to fish Bremerton.

It was very cold out on the water in May. We wore rubber boots and ski pants. If you’re not warm, you won’t have a good time.

It's a short trip out into the Puget Sound where the fish are, if you have a guide who knows where to look for them.

Fish are a little small, I would wait a few weeks or a month or so so they can get some size on them
