What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Grande Riviere Noire for the first time?

Kids had a fantastic fishing and exploration excursion with Mr. Rishi and his team. Even though they had no prior experience, Mr. Rishi proved to be an excellent teacher — patient, friendly, and great with children. The boys truly enjoyed the adventure and especially the fishing. We’re definitely coming back next time! very nice. You can catch a fish in 5 min. I highly recommend to try this

Don't be afraid, pick the 5am trip to sea the sky fully covered with stars, and just go. Long sleeves, phone to make photos. That's what you need. Rishi is a wonderful company, very patient, helpful, and will guide you with all the knowledge of the fishing world.

Listen to the skipper. They know what they are doing. I prefer the smaller sport boats as they are faster and easier and tend to be owned by local fishermen who know what they are doing and they rely on it, as it is how they make their living. Please do not think that you need a big fancy sport boats with a big cabin etc etc. Trust me I have used them in the past and have had much more success with the smaller boats with locals. They provide everything you need and will get you on the fish.

Don´t expect to catch always Blue Marlen, we got a 21.3 kg Giant Trevallor and it was picked up for Restaurant after taking Picture. The Ocean has many surprises and this is what you should looking for. Perhaps the list of fishes to be cought there should be Extended after that catch.

Its great to fish there. For catching a blue marlin december and january are the best months

Good time - we caught a lot of tuna. Unfortunately no merlin but this is not the main season for the species.

Check the weather forecast . We were lucky as we had great weather but it will greatly affect the enjoyment of your excursion . Take plenty of suncream too

It is only fishing, don't have to high expectations. Just go with the catch! We didn't catch a Marlin but three nice Tunas.

Hang in there, stick to your plan of targeted species. I was targeting big blue marlin. We had 1 knockdown the first 3 days of fishing. On day 4 we raised 3 marlin and got this one.
